WereGnome Nick This longform piece really hits everything I love about winter synth as a sub genre. It's icy and comforting at the same time. Beautiful piece by a great artist.

windgeist A impressive work of wintery synth music. The mood moves between dreamy and melancholic without a problem, while the flow of the composition feels natural at any moment.
Wintermourn easily manages to paint pictures of snowcovered forests and landscapes of in eternal white.

darefire I really think this release stands out. I was at first going to say that it stands out in the dark ambient/winter synth genre, but I think those labels are limiting. Sure, there are dark, melancholy passages, but also uplifting, grand sections and a lot of melodic surprises. This is a more mature composition than your average “synth” release and one I will share to others as just beautiful, relaxing and evocative music.

Grackle A cold and tense fear grips you in this album, it's a fantastic piece of wintersynth that brings out not only the beauty and wonder of a stark and snow-covered landscape, but the awe as you look around you and remember how harsh the winter can really be.
