  April sees the release of From Fen to Fell, a split release with one of my favourite UK artists, Chattox, on the fantastic Voices of the Ainur.
  
  Despite the focus of Ferrydor Archive being on a self-created fantasy world, this time I've pulled from folk legends of the real world. Having spent my formative years in the flatlands of Lincolnshire, I've long been fascinated with the myths of the fens that stretch from Boston all the way down to Norfolk where we'd often have short holidays.
  
  I've contributed 2 long tracks. The first, 'When Black Shuck Roamed the Fen and Flatlands', ruminates on the idea of black shuck, an omen of death in the form of a black dog. The second track, 'The Leaper Between (a toad bone amulet)' is an ode to the powers of the natterjack toad. Astute readers may get the titular reference.
